Musings: L I G H T.

The blinding beacon that exposes all —
cradled jealousy, crippling doubt, and petty insecurities.
Creatures writhing,
forced out of their blackened cracks and hideous hiding holes
by vain, glorious light.
It flows like warm honey pouring into bottomless need,
steel hearts, and unspeakable pain.
The yolk of truth that nourishes our hungry souls toddling into eternity.
Courage rises only in the face of fear.

And darkness cannot surround me,
when my heart is filled with light.
